LIN XI

Film director and Artistic Director, LIN Xi uses cinematographic and photographic fields in order to interrogate and explore the boundaries between absolute aesthetic and sensory perceptions.

 

Convinced that creativity involves a multi-disciplinary approach, during her studies, Lin Xi explores theatre as well as staging photography and cinema. She obtained a Master in Film Production and Creation at the University of Paris 8 and is currently pursuing a PhD in cinema with an approach encompassing Art and Science.

 

Her first short film Disorders is from 2010, shortly after followed by : Femme Fatale. Then she continues with the fiction film Paradox (co-production France - UK - Germany). 

 

In 2014, she founded MIE Production in London. She collaborates with the biggest names in luxury (Dior, Rolex, Bulgari, Boodles, Balenciaga, Chloe, Roberto Cavalli, Zegna) and fashion (Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, Cosmo).

 

LIN Xi also participates in projects with the greatest personalities of architecture and cinema in France, including Jean Nouvel, Jean-Pierre Buffi, Paul Andreu, Georges Vauzeilles and Alain Depardieu.
